This composition was created as a visual and conceptual bridge to showcase the sculptures dedicated to the Samnites. The work is a bird's-eye view that captures the essence of the Tratturo, the ancient "highway" of grass and stone traversed for centuries by these warrior and shepherd people. The Tratturo was not just a road, but the very essence of a civilization. It represented the ritual of transhumance: the long, nomadic journey of flocks from… the southern plains up to the cool pastures of the central mountains. A months-long journey that transformed the landscape into a social ecosystem where news, goods, and knowledge flowed. An indelible mark imprinted in the soil that survives to this day. The work does not simply describe the landscape, but becomes it. The use of sand taken directly from the Samnite territory, mixed with acrylic, creates a dense, tactile texture. The Tratturo is the sign of time becoming earth; a furrow that connects the past to the present of our gaze.

These essential works evoke a delicate relationship between man and nature, awakening a subtle emotionality and an intimate, dreamlike dimension. He uses traditional materials such as wood, iron, and stone, often recycled and treated to restore their original value.
