Scultura in legno raffigurante un gladiatore con equipaggiamento come quello di un guerriero sannita: una spada corta chiamata ‘Gladius’, una protezione di cuoio per la gamba, un piccolo scudo tondo al petto chiamato ‘Cardiophylax’ ed un elmo piumato. I guerrieri armati in tale modo furono i primi gladiatori della storia dei giochi romani comuni in tutto l’impero. L’opera deriva dai miei studi sul popolo dei Sanniti e questo lavoro è stato esposto…
recentemente in un centro museale nel luogo in cui vivo. L'opera è prodotta a mano in un numero di nove opere ognuna con proprio certificato di autenticità, incorniciata e pronta per essere appesa. La figura del gladiatore è trattata con acrilico color oro antico ed il fondo con acrilico e sabbia. Viene spedita in una cassa di legno.
