About this artwork
"Le blanc matin" is an intimate work. It represents a person looking out the window. She therefore turns her back to the viewer, she is also against the light. The spectator returns to his privacy: his room, with its poorly made bed, the armchair propped up against the radiator, the dazzling light gives this place a singular, charming, a little mysterious, even confidential character.
