Le titre, emprunté à la fable cinématographique de Pasolini Uccellacci e Uccellini, ajoute une dimension narrative et allégorique à l'oiseau captif. L'image devient ainsi une parabole contemporaine, interrogeant les rapports de domination et les conditionnements symboliques. La fusion entre la citation…

Lodewijk van Bodeghem, a Belgian artist and accomplished painter, works with gouache and sculpture, drawing on his solid training at the ERG in Brussels. His techniques combine layering opaque gouache and creating sculptures that function as three-dimensional paintings, playing with the tension between plane and space. His style oscillates between figuration and abstraction, precision and gestural freedom, inspired by virtual and historical imagery. The works he creates immerse the viewer in a visual poetry, a suspension of gaze between surface and depth, awakening curiosity and wonder.
