About this artwork
This is a tribute to algae (especially Kombu algae here): they nourish, shelter life, capture CO₂, and open up very concrete avenues for tomorrow. I paint their strength and beauty to make you want to look at them differently. The warm palette carries the vital force. In the fronds, I see bodies: the same breath, the same need for water and light. Painting algae is about talking about us.
