About this artwork
I look forward to my hydrangeas every year. This piece I wanted to have some drama with the black blue background set off by the cream hydrangea and the brilliant blue table. Lots of thick textures.
This is an original signed piece of art. Remember, there is always so much more detail and rich color than a photograph can capture, so if you like it here you will love it in person. Created with the best quality art materials. The sides are painted… and this work is ready to hang in the frame less style, but a frame could be added if desired.
NOTE: Mailing overseas from Canada can be expensive due to the dimensions of medium to large artworks. One option is to take the canvas off the stretchers and mail just the canvas in a tube for restretching on your end. Please inquire about the cost of tube mailing.

« Live life surrounded by beauty…let art be a part of your world. Perhaps I can be a part of bringing that joy I feel in art-making to you. »
Louise Baker considers herself to be a ‘colorist’, as color and lighting seemingly dominate her center of interests. The Canadian painter thrives on experimentation and continuously tries new techniques in order to best capture her subject. She enjoys balancing several styles, subjects, and textures concurrently. Baker's vibrantly colored florals and landscapes are created using acrylics on canvas.
