About this artwork
In this work of mine, I sought an intimate dialogue between nature and art through the use of acrylic, gilding, plaster, resin and marble dust. The fusion between expressionism and impressionism, with a touch of oriental and semi-abstract art, invokes a symphony of textures and colors. The purple hues of the blooms contrast vividly with the shimmering gold, evoking a landscape both vibrant and placid. This painting is not just a visual observation,… but an emotional experience aimed at arousing reflection and serenity in the beholder.
At the moment the work is on display at the ARTISTIKAMENTO gallery in Pistoia together with another narrower one but of the same height... if desired, the two works can be hung together
Luana Baldi, a native of Tuscany, mixes cement, plaster and glue to create contemporary and abstract canvases full of materiality. His style oscillates between the opacity of acrylic and the shine of tar, creating bold contrasts. His works are a chromatic journey into emotional depth, from the intense black of the night to the boundless blue of the sea.
