‘Shatter’ is a continuation of painting ‘Shimmer’, when we are presented with this piece we are presented with a reflection of ourselves. When you look into the depths of ‘Shatter’, we come face to face with ourselves and all of our ups and downs, highs and lows and the reflective qualities encourage ourselves to find our shine and be as true to ourselves as possible.

When a mirror breaks… it shatters to pieces, there is a beauty in the way it forms fragments of broken glass as it hits the ground, we are encouraged to look for beauty in the simplest things, even if they are broken, they are still beautiful.
