About this artwork
Produced on canvas and stretched by hand, the work is protected by several layers of varnish to give it a smooth and shiny appearance. The acronym of the artist "LU" is present on the front of the work. The painting is also dated and signed on the back. A metal wire attachment system is present in order to be able to hang the work directly on the wall.

Luc Villard is a French painter whose art has been featured in several solo and group exhibitions in France. His abstract pieces contain themes of hidden faces and invented languages. Street art and 'Les Shadocks' (a French animated cartoon created by Jacques Rouxel which aired 1968–1974) have also influenced his compositions. Villard uses both dry and oil pastels, as well as acrylics, on cotton or linen canvases.
