About this artwork
“Guardian of the Path” oscillates between past and future, where an old paved road stretches under majestic trees. Although marked by many journeys, this road has yet to be traveled by our own steps. The car, with its imposing appearance, seems to block the passage, but its bright headlights invite rather than repel.
This guardian, far from preventing the passage, encourages us to think about the journey to come. The car symbolizes the end of a… chapter and the anticipation of the next, standing on the border between the past and the future that we will create. The path whispers ancient stories, while the passage under the trees promises us our own adventure.
Beyond the guardian, a sense of freedom is felt. The light filtering through the trees reveals an open and infinite path, inviting us to move forward into a space where past and future meet.
Lucas Biston Reichling, born into a family of painters, turned to photography to express his love of travel. His style spans minimalist landscape photography, automotive portraits and abstract water images, playing with light and shadow to highlight the contrast between technology and nature. His work evokes freedom and adventure, each image inviting exploration and discovery through his artistic eye.
