Discover the creation in interiors
It is the city and its daily banality that attracts me;
I try to fix these fragments of urban history in digital files which I then reduce and simplify into a few lines and reinterpret through painting with acrylic colors which I mix with sand to make it material.
Critics argue that reality tends to disappear in the indifference caused by the incessant flow of suggestions, images, information, narratives that suffocate the materiality of the concrete.…
Resisting this process is my job: through technology and its extreme plasticity I try to create fragments of reality that have their own autonomy, their own silent path: far from the deafening context that surrounds them.
My latest works are all titled with the letter Q followed by a number and indicate the sequence of days and projects I worked on during the quarantine period from February to March 2020.

Italy
Lucia DiBi, multimedia artist, began her journey in art with an art high school and then the Academy of Fine Arts. She uses digital photography as a basis, manipulating it on the computer as if it were a painting, and then transferring the result onto canvas with acrylic paint and sand creating various levels of stratification. His work reflects his daily life and the changing urban layout, a fascinating search for authenticity. His works reveal an emotional exploration of architectural details and urban spaces, giving meaning to the apparently insignificant.
