About this artwork
In this sculpture, I wanted to capture the primordial force of nature, combining the solidity of stone with the lightness and fragility of wood. The contrast between the materials creates a dynamic balance, while the slender form and ascending lines evoke rebirth and hope. It exudes a vibrant energy, capable of enlivening any space with its unique and captivating presence.

Luciano De Barba lives in Limana in the province of Belluno in the heart of the Dolomites. His sculptural training began in 2004, and his artistic adventure began with his first sculpture competition in 2006.
She experiments with different techniques, ranging from figurative to abstract and stylized, alternating smooth and rough surfaces, using rocks and pebbles as bases, and employing color and burn details. Her works evoke lightness, elegance, and delicacy, conveying a profound emotion inspired by nature and its nuances.
Wood, in its various essences, remains the preferred material, but clay also plays an important role in the search for new intertwined and imprisoned harmonies, in perfecting new dictates, in wooden sculpture, thus embracing the origins of the universe. Air, earth, water, and fire, elements from which he draws memory and structure.
