About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to capture the intensity of human emotions intertwined with metaphysical and semi-abstract forms. Rich materials such as acrylic, oil, India ink, and oil pastel create a vibrant, tactile depth. Each segment expresses an inner tension, a dialogue between the visible and the invisible, filling your space with an energy that is both mysterious and passionate.
Lucile Travert is a painter, illustrator, and engraver, trained at the Beaux-Arts in Lyon and the Villa Arson School of Decorative Arts in Nice. She continued her studies with research and then completed a thesis in Visual Arts at the Sorbonne Paris I. She is skilled in painting, engraving, drawing and also creates Installations in prestigious heritage sites, industrial spaces, wastelands, landscapes…. His techniques feature refined supports (linen canvas, Japanese papers), natural pigments and chosen materials, where non-narrative figuration engages in dialogue with text, quotation and art history. Each of Lucile's works, between homage, reversal and superimposition, shapes a sensitive and silent emotion, illuminating the border between the visible and the invisible, at once vibrant with poetry and depth.
