About this artwork
In this work, I captured the raw power of human emotions, blending figurative forms with vibrant abstraction. The use of acrylic, oil, and India ink creates a contrasting tension, evoking an intense inner turmoil. Each figure expresses a struggle, a resilience. Hanging this piece in your home will infuse it with a deep, rugged, yet incredibly vibrant energy, sparking reflection and passion.
Lucile Travert is a painter, illustrator, and engraver, trained at the Beaux-Arts in Lyon and the Villa Arson School of Decorative Arts in Nice. She continued her studies with research and then completed a thesis in Visual Arts at the Sorbonne Paris I. She is skilled in painting, engraving, drawing and also creates Installations in prestigious heritage sites, industrial spaces, wastelands, landscapes…. His techniques feature refined supports (linen canvas, Japanese papers), natural pigments and chosen materials, where non-narrative figuration engages in dialogue with text, quotation and art history. Each of Lucile's works, between homage, reversal and superimposition, shapes a sensitive and silent emotion, illuminating the border between the visible and the invisible, at once vibrant with poetry and depth.
