About this artwork
In this work, I captured the burning inner fire of human emotions. By combining oil, India ink, and engraving, I sought to express the tension between chaos and gentleness. This blend of figurative and semi-abstract forms invites deep contemplation, bringing a vibrant energy into your space, full of passion and unsettling intensity.
Lucile Travert is a painter, illustrator, and engraver, trained at the Beaux-Arts in Lyon and the Villa Arson School of Decorative Arts in Nice. She continued her studies with research and then completed a thesis in Visual Arts at the Sorbonne Paris I. She is skilled in painting, engraving, drawing and also creates Installations in prestigious heritage sites, industrial spaces, wastelands, landscapes…. His techniques feature refined supports (linen canvas, Japanese papers), natural pigments and chosen materials, where non-narrative figuration engages in dialogue with text, quotation and art history. Each of Lucile's works, between homage, reversal and superimposition, shapes a sensitive and silent emotion, illuminating the border between the visible and the invisible, at once vibrant with poetry and depth.
