About this artwork
Five Read Heads are five closely spaced oak half-trunks. The lower section is flame-treated black, while the upper section is coated with red resin. They form a group of individuals, huddled together, as if seeking protection and help. They strengthen each other in their community and support each other. Seemingly very calm and static, the group radiates great energy through its red heads.
