About this artwork
In my work with acrylic paints I have depicted the unpredictability and movement of water. The abstract brushstrokes reflect the depth and flowing energy, bringing calm and at the same time dynamism into the room. It captures the essence of the changeable and is intended to invite viewers to let their thoughts flow freely and experience mental silence.
« If my pictures stimulate calm, deepening, and the encounter with oneself, then the vibration arises that defines us humans as sentient beings. »
Luise Kloos is an award-winning painter and draftsman based in Austria whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Hungary, the United States, the United Kingdom, Poland, Croatia, and Germany. Motivated by the immediacy of expression, her abstractions are created with the intent of conveying a sense of tranquility, inviting viewers into "a state that touches them deeply". Kloos's distinctive pieces are made using pencils, ink, and mineral pigments found in the Himalayas.
