About this artwork
Luzena's joy is expressed in this seven-part work. For the first time, Luzena had encounters with dolphins who lived in freedom. Contact with the dolphins and playing together in the diverse color nuances of the Atlantic Ocean opened up new color spaces in Luzena.
She implements this experience in this color study. The colored canvases were placed next to each other for the subsequent application of paint, following her own style she ran across… the entire work with broad, gestural, sweeping brushstrokes. In a further step, areas on each individual canvas were compacted with fine colored pencil strokes. The 7-piece work can be hung vertically or horizontally. The canvases are mounted on a thin plate. It is also possible to hang up each work individually.
A water laboratory analyzed the quality of work 2/7. The evaluation with the crystal picture is enclosed with the work.

« "A foreboding feeling lives within me, unshaped and without imagination. In the course of the creative act, this takes shape in painted works. I let myself be carried away by the joy of experimenting." »
