The painter has depicted blue as transparent and with a pasty mixture of chalk. With this contrast, it creates a contrast that we experience in life today - sometimes it seems easier and then it becomes difficult and turbulent again.
The water gushes… through debris like a mountain stream.
The blue in the upper part of the picture is laid out in various successive transparent layers. With the white lights, Luzena increases the effect of the color blue. A technique that was particularly used by Leonardo da Vinci. The shining copper in the top right of the picture is like a crowning glory.
Almost magically, the view is drawn into the depths, into another dimension in that of a 'New World'.
