About this artwork
Luzena experimented with different materials. She impulsively sets gestural-arabesque swings with oil pastel as the first layer on the canvas in the colors blue and red. Luzena pours black and chestnut paint over it. The painter playfully drips the shellac into the structure of the paint pouring. Forms are formed. With a large fragment of black and white paper, the artist created the next step in order to expand the beginning subject again with color.…
Experiencing the stimulus completely unintentionally, she strokes a mass of anthracite, sienna and natural-colored earth pigments over an area of the work. A delightful, high-contrast combination that underlines the deeper meaning of the title "Free-Connected".

« "A foreboding feeling lives within me, unshaped and without imagination. In the course of the creative act, this takes shape in painted works. I let myself be carried away by the joy of experimenting." »
Barbaras BilderKunst has won several awards for her paintings, which have been extensively exhibited in Europe and the United States. She lives and creates in the microstate of Liechtenstein, situated in the Alps.
