Luzena was attracted by the size of the canvas because it roughly corresponds to her body length. She took the question with her to the studio: “How do I design and fill this area?
How does my counterpart appear? "
According to her own style, the artist begins with the arabesque act of pouring with different colored ink. She continues to experiment with shellac, pastes and colors. Forms… emerge, which she takes up and works out. The lower part of the canvas is designed with a mass of earth pigments from the ocher rocks of Roussillon in France. This creates an interesting tension between matter and color.
