About this artwork
"Time is over" is the statement made by Luzena in this work which shows the drastic change in this era. The Middle Ages are over and so is the conviction with her guilty charge. The artist illustrates this turning point with a broad black line. Figures step majestically into nothing. The New Era is formed with and through people themselves. The yellow, warm colors on the right-hand side of the picture gently indicate the New Era.

« "A foreboding feeling lives within me, unshaped and without imagination. In the course of the creative act, this takes shape in painted works. I let myself be carried away by the joy of experimenting." »
Barbaras BilderKunst has won several awards for her paintings, which have been extensively exhibited in Europe and the United States. She lives and creates in the microstate of Liechtenstein, situated in the Alps.
