About this artwork
The feeling of Luzena during which the snow falls softly, the snowflakes form a blanket and gently lay over a loud, fast and colorful world is goodness, silence and brightness that spread within it. Time is slowing down. Areas emerge from the work. They appear new because they can be recognized from the previous context. With that they write a new story. Colors and shapes are experienced anew.

Barbaras BilderKunst has won several awards for her paintings, which have been extensively exhibited in Europe and the United States. She lives and creates in the microstate of Liechtenstein, situated in the Alps. BilderKunst describes her works as concrete art, which comprises elements of collage painting, assemblage, mixed media, and painting fragment. The themes she expresses are “as complex as life” and represent her attitudes towards colour, shape and symbolism.
