Whether it is sun, star, light, life, bird, devilish virus or beating heart of hope, fire burning with love or fire which is ravaging our forests and our planet today ... the Red Dot is the end point on the canvas, the signature, the center, the core, where, from a symbolic point of view, everything is played out.
The "red point", more or less marked and incandescent, buried in the material or scintillating, hidden or shown, bearer of hope or alarm… signal, polysemous and chameleon, lights up and goes out in Ly's painting -Pink, conductive link over time.
For once, little or no impasto in this canvas of ly-Rose. The immensity of the sunset sky and the water of an infinite lake required an economy of means. In the middle of all this colored immensity of tawny tones, Two red birds, two red dots, which have the wonderful chance to be TWO!
