About this artwork
A vintage image from a fashion photoshoot in the ‘90s.
Brass knuckles featuring the word “LOVE” introduce duality to the theme.
This piece of jewelry was created especially for this work by Brazilian trans jeweler Charlote Maluf (in memoriam).
The original negative of the photo comes from an analog system, so for this large format, there is a strong graininess, which, together with the movement in the image's trail, highlights the beauty of the… texture of this process.
Print with soluble inkjet on Matte Decor paper, which is quite resistant, allows for assembly without glass and even permits light dry cleaning of the surface.
