The sculpture was made of a naturally colored banana bark arranged in
1: 1 scale human back shape.
For this work, the model was a cast
my own body. Banana bark with its natural,
fabric weaves was the perfect material for me
to reflect the complex structure of the human structure - interpenetrating
each other's physicality, spirituality and intellect.
The key in this work is color - red - the color of blood, life, fire,
passion and unlimited temperament.… It is both a color
intense love, passion and eroticism, as well as war,
the dangers. Strongly stimulates the human metabolism, speed up
breathing, heartbeat, increases blood pressure. It is assigned to the chakra
basis - related to what is physical, basic, primitive.
« Beauty is within each of us. When you find yourself perfect now, you will become happier. »
