About this artwork
This work evokes the mystery and serenity of a birch forest in an impossible, timeless, and enveloping blue. Painted with vegan watercolors based on such special minerals as Kyanite, the mineral that gave its name to cyan blue, and the so-called "blue gold" or Lapis lazuli.
These pigments capture the ephemeral light and create the textures that give life to each of the trees.
It belongs to the *Forest* series, a collection of works that seek… to capture the essence of natural landscapes, intentionally distancing themselves from human presence, away from stress and haste, turning this work into a refuge of calm.
