About this artwork
Playing with colours, I had the intetion to make something green, lush, vibrant. First I made some large shapes, but allthough they looked good by themselves, the composition was not in balance. I got the inspiration to make it more exotic, and painted the fruits and dark leaves. To get some meening and depth I painted the palm tree. In the foreground I created texture using the leaf of a fern that I put paint on and then pushed against the painting.…
The result is quite lush and reminds me of the abundance of nature.
