About this artwork
Circles follows a movement without a clear beginning and without a definitive end. Concentric traces spread across the surface, creating a rhythm of repetition, change, and return.
Beneath the golden surface, deeper layers of color and material are repeatedly revealed. Reds, violets, and dark tones appear like fragments of something hidden, uncovered by the circular motion. What is repeated is never entirely the same.
