Fractured Memory II — Aftershock (framed 35x35x4cm) picks up directly after Fault Line and examines the phase after the fracture.
While Fault Line marks the moment of tectonic shift, Aftershock refers to the aftereffects of this tension. The surface appears dense and charged, as if the material still holds the memory of the rupture within it. Dark layers are superimposed, interspersed with golden traces that do not decorate, but rather mark the… manifestation of inner forces.
The work oscillates between stillness and latent movement. It doesn't depict a renewed rupture, but rather its echo—a state in which energy hasn't yet been discharged, but remains stored within the material. Aftershock understands this reverberation not as a conclusion, but as a continuation of an inner process.
