Fractured Memory IV — Drift 20x20x0.5cm (framed 23x23x3.5cm)
In Drift, a golden surface breaks apart into fragmented plates that appear to shift against each other. Between them, colored structures in shades of violet, pink, and red open up, resembling hidden currents beneath the surface.
The composition follows no fixed center – rather, it creates the impression of a slow, continuous movement. Forms glide apart, shift, and form new connections… without ever coming to a complete standstill.
The title Drift refers to this quiet but unstoppable change. Like tectonic plates that shift over time, memories also change – imperceptibly, but permanently.
The work combines mineral textures with organic lines, creating a visual world between stability and movement – an expression of the processes in which memory dissolves and is simultaneously reshaped.
