About this artwork
The Thrown Forms are forms in progress, which can still "happen", denying any definitive crystallization, expanding between chaos and order with a naturalness modulated by the sensitive and empathetic action that opens up with confidence to the world. In their dance, bronze and wood seem to sculpt each other according to mysterious rhythms.
In this sculpture, I fused bronze and wood to express the dialogue between nature and human creation. The… bronze, fluid and dynamic, emerges forcefully from the wood, almost symbolizing life that blossoms from the natural order. It is a work that embodies transformation and growth, perfect for animating the space of those who host it, injecting energy and contemplation into it.

- Local Artist
Matilde Mancini, a talented sculptor, models bronze and wood, creating works that explore matter and space. Through a physical and reflective approach, she digs, files and smoothes massive roots to reveal lively and witty forms, in a search for harmony and beauty. Thus, in his sculptures we perceive a tension between material gravitas and a subtle emotional levity, which invites us to contemplate art as a vehicle towards worlds of elegant serenity mixed with restlessness.
