In this composition, we encounter trees on the shore – some standing alone, others in groups. Their vibrant orange-red crowns are reflected in the tranquil water, which lies like a still mirror between reality and dream. The background, rendered in soft shades of gray, enhances the effect of the colors – as if nature itself were paused in a moment of self-reflection.
Concept, artistic design and post-processing by me, visualized with generative… AI as part of the creative process.
High-quality fine art print (giclée print) using pigment-based, lightfast inks on semi-gloss Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta paper (325 g/m²). Limited edition of 20, certificate of authenticity (COA), hand-signed and numbered by me. Unframed.
Manfred Rautenberg, born in 1947 on the North Sea coast, draws inspiration for his digitally created works from a deep connection to the landscape and from his own memories. He combines generative AI with conceptual precision, developing minimalist, often semi-abstract compositions – as single images or multi-part works such as diptychs and triptychs. Coastal forms appear in these works as poetic interstitial spaces, characterized by reduction, vastness, and meditative stillness.
Rautenberg studied at a technical university, an experience that continues to shape his enthusiasm for technology-driven image design. This combination of artistic vision and technological openness lends his work a distinctive character. His art conveys a contemplative tranquility and invites viewers to discover their own meanings within the quiet, open pictorial spaces.
