The triptych combines clear graphic structures with a poetic, color-intensive interpretation of the landscape. Each panel depicts stylized riverside trees, their forms oscillating between elegant reduction and atmospheric depth. The works play with color contrasts of warm orange, cool gray, and expansive sky and water surfaces that reflect across the horizontal center of the image. The linear clarity of the compositions creates tranquility, harmony,… and an almost meditative flow between the three panels. The concept and artistic design are my own; the visualization was realized using generative AI.
Taken together, the panels form a calm, timeless landscape sequence that elegantly combines modernity and a connection to nature – ideal for spacious living and working spaces with a clear aesthetic.
Format: three images, each measuring 90 cm (height) by 60 cm (width), high-quality acrylic glass print (3 mm thick), aluminum back frame for hanging.
My name is Manfred Rautenberg, born in 1947 on the German North Sea coast. I create my maritime works from a deep connection to the coastal landscape and from my own impressions. With my works, I try to convey contemplative tranquility. Coastal forms appear as poetic interstitial spaces, characterized by reduction, vastness, and meditative stillness.
Having trained as a graduate engineer in the 1970s, my artistic career is rooted in the precision of technical disciplines. The combination of artistic vision and technological openness lends my work a distinctive character.
I use AI as a highly sophisticated design tool – similar to complex technical systems. Each work originates from a rigorous conceptual framework, which I fill with finely tuned design, curation, and post-processing steps.
Education: Diploma in Engineering, Technical University of Braunschweig, 1975.
