About this artwork
This work is one of the most recent pieces in my blue series. A wide variety of pigments, custom-developed color mixtures, and sketchy brushstrokes and graphite marks come together on the white canvas to form a harmonious yet energetic whole. The deliberately generous white space acts like a silent frame, allowing the painting room to breathe and amplifying its inner tension.
Like a visual diary entry, the work tells a story of determination, courage,… and the moment of departure. It's a reminder to oneself: to simply tackle things, to seize life with both hands and stop putting it off. Just do it. Move forward. This image carries all these impulses within it—a poetic invitation to trust one's own inner rhythm and dare to take the first step. Where would you go if you could go anywhere? Isn't it a wonderful thought to be so free, to be able to dare anything?
