In "I Love Cheesecake," a crocodile sits at a set coffee table—a surreal scene in which humor and menace merge. The seemingly cozy moment of enjoyment is interrupted by the wild animal, revealing the fragile balance between culture and instinct.
The screen print on the coarse, used coffee sack lends the work a strong material presence. The support material alludes… to global trade structures and everyday consumption, while the motif itself raises questions about civilization, desire, and human nature. With bold colors and striking texture, the work combines irony with social reflection—an invitation to question one's own view of pleasure, power, and transience.
