About this artwork
Camargue landscape.
Faced with Nature, what about the direction taken by Man?
Awareness, passage of time and traces of humans on the territory.
What about the non-visible off-screen of photography, in its literal sense, which could lead us to imagine our back roads.
Photograph taken in the Camargue, a territory comprising complex issues between tradition, modernity, ecological constraints carried as an example of transformations without bias… or judgment on the part of the artist.

Manuela Noble
France
« Make the invisible visible. The invisible is often what catches the eye. »
Manuela Noble is an award-winning French painter and photographer who has exhibited in solo and group events throughout France. Her figurative expressions in paint are representations of women and men who have been shifted from their usual cultural environment. In her photographs, Noble explores landscapes and the traces that humans leave behind, suggesting a force and underlying drama. She qualifies her photographs as ‘extractions’ and uses a digital camera with a 16-35mm lens.
