Paulchen Panther or Pink Panther. A popular comic and cartoon character.
The Pink Panther series is the name given to the American feature films that were made from 1963 onwards and feature the Parisian police inspector Jacques Clouseau as the main character. Clouseau, the fictional character created by director Blake Edwards, was originally played by Peter Sellers. The animated series was made from 1964 onwards.
The sculpture, or rather the complete… object, consists of an empty spray can and a wooden box, hand-signed and dated. The spray can shows 2 different views of the panther. The wooden object also consists of 4 different cardboard cards, which have different motifs of the room furnishings from the cartoons and have also been covered with paper elements. This creates the room of the cartoon series. The individual cards are also all hand-signed and movable. The object can be set up or hung up.
