"Music silver" was originally born from the idea for the Music Award Switzerland. It represents a head with integrated CD's. The music arises first in the head, then it manifests itself in the exterior. The sculpture is covered with hand-cut mirror plates so that the light and the surroundings are reflected in the sculpture itself. The whole sculpture is a symbol for the symbolism of light and music. The artist Manuella Muerner Marioni cooperated… with the Niki de St. Phalle Foundation from 1995 to 2002. At the time, Niki de St. Phalle was her personal teacher and friend.
« My work serves me as a tool to be able to break through conventional perspectives. »
