About this artwork
The color that defines life
Green, reflected by the chlorophyll in plants, has shaped the appearance of our planet since the dawn of life. It marks the transition from the cold, dark, inhospitable depths of the universe to the vibrant world we call home. This color has found its way into nearly every corner of Earth, from the deepest forests to the smallest blades of grass.
For this project, I set out to isolate this powerful color, focusing on… the contrast between black, green, and white. By doing so, I aimed to highlight the essence of life in its purest form - capturing the balance and tension between nature's vitality and the simplicity of its visual impact.
