About this artwork
Most of the polder is flat. Except on the edge. Because there is almost always a river or canal where the water from the polder is drained. This concerns the (second deepest polder in the Netherlands) polder Groot Mijdrecht Noord, upper part, against Fort near the Botshol. If you walk through the new Waverhoek nature reserve, you will eventually reach the dike near the fort. In the spring the dike slope is full and beautiful with yellow flowers.
