About this artwork
In this work of mine, I wanted to capture the vibrant and warm essence of sunflowers at sunset. The use of oil allowed me to create a rich and deep texture, and with my realistic style, I tried to bring out every detail and nuance of light, so that each sunflower seems bathed in the golden light of the dying sun. This painting is a tribute to natural beauty and resilience, evoking feelings of hope and rebirth.
Marco Bencic was born in Trieste in 1977. From a young age, his imagination and creativity sought to flourish, drawing and drawing. Constrained by social norms, instead of pursuing his great passion, he embarked on a completely different path, one that never diminished his fascination with art. He initially taught himself drawing, a skill that earned him recognition and recognition during his school years. The turning point came in 2021, when he finally managed to dedicate himself to oil painting, beginning to frequent the studio of Livio Možina, a realist and hyperrealist painter who has participated in numerous exhibitions throughout Italy. Thus began his in-depth study of the process of creating a canvas, beginning with sketches and diagrams, moving on to mapping and drawing on the surface, continuing with the mixing of colors, and finishing with glazing.
