About this artwork
The circle as a symbol has always polarized people and has had many meanings throughout history.
Marc O Pel refers to today and sees the circle as our basis and our focus. He explains the interpretation of the bursts, the wild and sometimes colorful strokes by saying that a base is beautiful, but you should stay a little wild at heart. His abstract representation is not to stand still, but to devote himself to new topics in life.
"Broken circle"… impresses not only with its focused shape, but also with its hard cuts and many details.
In all of his works, attention is paid to high-quality materials, canvases and colors. Finally, the picture is sealed with varnish to ensure longevity and UV protection.

« My paintings are inspired by the beauty, simplicity and nonchalance in life. Please more of it! »
Marco is an established German artists living and working in Stutgart. Growing up in the small town of Selb, he was influenced early on by the local porcelain company Rosenthal. Fascinated by the art department and the co-creations with international artists such as Andy Warhol, Walter Gropius and Versace, it was precisely this creative world of art in which he saw his calling. His intention is to create a modern and timeless style that is characterised by simplicity and clarity.
