About this artwork
My painting is a portrait done in the style of a sketch. I used simple lines and shapes to give the portrait a spontaneous and lively quality. The combination of acrylic paints and coffee gives my work an interesting texture and an unusual hue that gives it a unique atmosphere.
The background is abstract and wild. I used bold brushstrokes and blurred lines to create a dynamic and energetic backdrop. The abstract nature of the background leaves… room for interpretation and allows the viewer to find their own meaning.

Marco is an established German artists living and working in Stutgart. Growing up in the small town of Selb, he was influenced early on by the local porcelain company Rosenthal. Fascinated by the art department and the co-creations with international artists such as Andy Warhol, Walter Gropius and Versace, it was precisely this creative world of art in which he saw his calling. His intention is to create a modern and timeless style that is characterised by simplicity and clarity.
