About this artwork
My drawing fuses realism and surrealism to explore the deep symbolism of the human condition. Using colored pencils, I created a figure rising from a bowl - an image of growth and transformation. The calm charisma, combined with the surreal composition, encourages reflection on one's own roots and possibilities. This work brings a unique, thoughtful energy to any room.

Marco Spitzar is an award-winning draftsman whose works have been featured in several solo exhibitions in Austria. He believes that we are born glued to the world, detached and heavy from imprints and stories to which we stick. Spitzar has used UHU adhesive in his the creation of his compositions for over forty-years, making new surface structures that also allow his imagery to remain transparent.
