In my artwork I combine realism and surrealism using colored pencils to create a figure that appears both familiar and fantastical. The vibrant colors and precise details bring a thought-provoking energy to any home while providing a captivating aesthetic. With this work I want to take the viewer into a world that embraces both history and the wonderful.

Marco Spitzar is an award-winning draftsman whose works have been featured in several solo exhibitions in Austria. He believes that we are born glued to the world, detached and heavy from imprints and stories to which we stick. Spitzar has used UHU adhesive in his the creation of his compositions for over forty-years, making new surface structures that also allow his imagery to remain transparent.
