It was only a matter of time before Spitzar and the cucumber
Storage for yourself as a motif discovered. Cucumbers are small and
have a slippery appearance, they have curvatures and
a wart-like structure on the surface, precisely rhythmized
and shape-determining. They are in a vinegar spice
Sud waked up durable. Stored in clear glasses,
that fit in the fridge and on the shelf, even in one hand
and… can be bought anywhere. Spitzar introduces the cucumbers
and looks at them for a long time, again and again, quasi as they pass.

Marco Spitzar is an award-winning draftsman whose works have been featured in several solo exhibitions in Austria. He believes that we are born glued to the world, detached and heavy from imprints and stories to which we stick. Spitzar has used UHU adhesive in his the creation of his compositions for over forty-years, making new surface structures that also allow his imagery to remain transparent.
