In my work I combine realism and surrealism to create a fascinating scene with deep symbolism. Using colored pencils, I created a figure sitting in a formative tub, an image that represents personal reflection and self-confidence. Marco Spitzar is an award-winning draftsman whose works have been featured in several solo exhibitions in Austria. He believes that we are born glued to the world, detached and heavy from imprints and stories to which we stick. Spitzar has used UHU adhesive in his the creation of his compositions for over forty-years, making new surface structures that also allow his imagery to remain transparent.
