About this artwork
My artwork fuses realism and surrealism to push the boundaries of what is possible. I used colored pencils to capture both the subtle shades of reality and the vivid colors of a dream. Contrasts emphasize not only physicality but also the dream world that is born on my canvas. Through this drawing I want to build a bridge between the everyday and the fantastic, allowing the image to create an atmosphere of curiosity and inspiration in your home.

Marco Spitzar is an award-winning draftsman whose works have been featured in several solo exhibitions in Austria. He believes that we are born glued to the world, detached and heavy from imprints and stories to which we stick. Spitzar has used UHU adhesive in his the creation of his compositions for over forty-years, making new surface structures that also allow his imagery to remain transparent.
