Inspired By Light
Photographed in 1988 in a grotto in the Missões region of northwestern Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, this work evokes a world within the surrounding plains. Ancient rock textures, colored clay, unusual vegetation and a distinct microclimate create an atmosphere of mystery. Since discovering this place in the 1980s, I returned for years, guided by intuition and its natural energy.
Sheer fabrics soften the female form, revealing through… suggestion while allowing free, playful movement in the light.
The sessions were photographed on positive film in panoramic 5 × 17 cm, 6 × 6 cm and 35 mm formats. Digitized in high resolution in 2024, these original images preserve the character of analog photography.
Printed on 315 gsm pure cotton fine art paper, with other materials and textures available upon request. Shipped worldwide, rolled in secure packaging, with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
